The RoomPlace is excited to announce the opening of our newest store, located in the Northwoods Mall at 2200 W. War Memorial Drive in Peoria, Illinois. The location will officially open on Friday, May 11th at 10:00 am.
This new showroom is part of our efforts to expand our offerings to more customers and our commitment to revitalize local communities. The store is the largest mainline store at the Northwoods Mall, measuring at 65,000 square feet, and offers customers the largest selection among furniture stores in Peoria, Illinois. The showroom is in the second-story position formerly occupied by Macy’s, and its size rivals that of our 70,000-square-foot store in Indianapolis.
The RoomPlace CEO Paul Adams said, “We are excited to be expanding into the Peoria market and providing a differentiated retail experience at the Northwoods Mall.”
The new location, our 26th store, will create 50 new local jobs, adding to a total of more than 700 employees at our stores throughout Illinois and Indiana. With plans to open additional stores in the Gurnee and Pleasant Prairie areas of Illinois, we are excited to enjoy continued growth and bring affordable, high-quality furniture and mattresses to new cities across the Midwest.
