Gray is great!
Often referred to as an in-between color that is not too light and not too dark, gray has a very warm, welcoming hue. Some interior designers refer to gray as the perfect neutral that can be dressed up or down. Just like your favorite little black dress, you can turn up the fashion factor by adding a splash of color as we have done with the Mallory collection, shown to the right. The Mallory sofa and loveseat is upholstered in a soft, cozy, gray fabric. The dark purple and ivory add color and style to this luxuriously soft living room set. The pale, light purple wall color is brought to life with white drapes, chic lighting and stylish glass and wood accent tables.
Another way to decorate with gray is to keep it fresh and neutral by adding natural, green accents as shown in the Zora cloth living room set below. Notice how the green accent pillows and natural plant does not overpower the room and compliments the gray fabric. There is a nice balance between the two colors.
