Make a Style Statment with a Chaise Lounge

Want to make a style statement? Opt for a chaise lounge.

I have always had a sweet spot for the chaise lounge. It’s the ultimate in relaxation and offers a perfect spot to settle down with a great book (nowadays kindle or tablet) and hot cup of tea. More importantly, it’s the perfect choice to make a style statement in your living room, bedroom, indoor patio or home office.

The trick to making a chaise lounge work in any home is to find the right location. Here are two ideas on where to place your stylish chaise lounge:
Window Seat:
Place a chaise lounge near a window to add style and relaxation to any living room. Be sure to have a floor lamp, decorative pillows and a blanket in close proximity to ensure your family can relax and enjoy the chaise.
Bedroom:
My favorite spot for a great chaise lounge is in the boudoir.  Depending on the type of chaise lounge, you can opt to place it at the foot of the bed or place near a window or nestled in a corner to create a reading or sitting area.

Create a peaceful environment in your home wiht a chaise lounge.  Find an area with great lighting or sunshine, decorate with pillows and have a blanket nearby. Before you know it, your children and loved ones will be lounging and relaxing in style. The RoomPlace furniture stores with locations in Chicago, Aurora and Rockford, Illinois, to name a few, offers a nice selection of chaise lounges available in upholstered fabric and/or leather.  One of our best selling chaise is the Woodrow Chaise Lounge from the Cindy Crawford Home Furniture Collection.
